01Who is organizing the humanitarian fund raiser?
The fund raiser is organized by the non-governmental organization VIS EU o.z., based in Bratislava, Slovakia. The team behind VIS EU has decided to actively support woman affected by the consequences of the war conflict and provide help where it is most needed. We are focused on efficient and transparent help for woman who were directly or indirectly affected by the war.
02What is the goal of this fund raiser?
The primary goal of this humanitarian fund raiser is to provide support and assistance to Ukrainian women on the front lines, as well as women who were forced to leave their homes due to the war. The funds collected will be used to purchase protective equipment, medical supplies, and other essential items that help these women in their daily struggle for freedom and safety. This collection for Ukraine is exclusively aimed at supporting women whose lives have been negatively impacted by the ongoing war.
03How can I contribute?
You can contribute easily through the following ways:
- Via our website, where you can find a donation form
- Direct contribution
- For companies and organizations – direct contribution via donation agreement
- Donating 2% of your taxes (for Slovak entities only)
04Is the collection transparent?
Yes, the fund raiser is fully transparent. Updates about the amount of funds collected and their usage will be published on our website. For this purpose, a Public Collection has been declared in accordance with Slovak laws. The funds will be deposited on the transparent account of the civil association VIS EU o.z.
05How long will the collection last?
The public collection is declared for a period of 12 month (by law). After this period, our help will continue, as long as needed. Our goal is to respond to ongoing challenges and focus on new humanitarian projects for Ukraine’s recovery.
06Who are the recipients of the collected funds?
The primary recipient of the collected funds is the women’s air defense unit in the city of Bucha, which has become a symbol of Ukrainian resistance. Additionally, we plan to support other women serving in the Ukrainian armed forces, with assistance provided through our Ukrainian partners. Support will also be given to women who have been forced to leave their homes or even their country due to the war.
07Can companies and organizations contribute?
Yes, we welcome contributions from companies and organizations. Simply contact us via email, and we will provide you with a donation agreement and all necessary documentation. After payment, a donation confirmation can also be issued. We would be delighted if you joined our corporate partners.

08What is funded by the collected money?
The collected funds are used for:
- Protective equipment: e.g., helmets, vests, and other gear.
- Medical supplies: e.g., first aid kits, medical devices, ambulances.
- Material support: e.g., warm clothing and thermal equipment for challenging conditions.
- Financial assistance: for women who have been forced to leave their homes.
All requests for material assistance come from our Ukrainian partners.
